Cat Sitting

Wag Your Tail's cat sitting service is a cost effective alternative to catteries, using friends or family, ensuring professional cat care, in their home environment, when you’re away.

When cats are kept in their own home environment, they have the comfort of familiar sounds, smells, bedding and routines, whereas, if kept in traditional boarding environments, they have an increased risk of contracting cat flu and also become stressed in unfamiliar surroundings.  Keeping cats at home also avoids transportation.

Additional pet care services and other routine tasks can be arranged to meet the needs of your pets and to ensure the safety and security of your home.

Each standard pet sitting visit includes:

Love and cuddles

Feeding, changing water

Administration of medications, as needed

Playtime

Kitty litter change

Straightening up of pet bedding

Mail and packages brought in

Plants watered

Bins in/out if required

Daily home security check

Lights and blinds alternated

Daily updates and photos of your pet

Cat Sitting Fees

Regular rate: $30.00 per visit

Casual rate: $35.00 per visit

Public holidays Easter & Christmas surcharge $15 per visit.

Please know If your pet appears to be sick or injured or overly anxious about your absence, we will contact you immediately.  We will also add visits as we see fit if we have concerns about your pet’s health.
